STUDIOS
Create, Collaborate, and Grow in a Welcoming Artistic Community
At Everybody Studios, our studio holders are the heartbeat of our creative community. We believe that art thrives in an environment that is inclusive, vibrant, and supportive. As a studio holder, you’ll be part of a diverse and dynamic group of 30 artists whose practices span painting, printmaking, education, illustration, photography, performance, and beyond.
Our studios offer the perfect space to focus on your craft, develop new work, and connect with like-minded creatives. With 24-hour access, shared kitchen facilities, and all utilities and Wi-Fi included in your monthly fee, you'll have everything you need to bring your artistic visions to life.
We currently have one studio available. If you’re interested in joining our creative community, please reach out through our contact page
Residencies
opportunities for artists to develop new art, relationships and ideas
We have developed a number of residency opportunities for local artists who want to develop their visual arts practices and create new work.
Micro Residencies
Witness a range of artists transform The Everybody Gallery as they experiment, develop, and realise their creative ideas. Check our website for how you can take part in each of these temporary creative experiences. Check out our exhibitions and events page for when you can take a peek at their work, and have a look at this page for more information.
Year of Culture Residencies
In partnership with Calderdale Year of Culture and with local venues across Calderdale we will be launching 6 artist in residence programmes taking place throughout 2024 and 2025. The programme will bring local visual artists to venues across the borough throughout the Year of Culture, in which the public will be able to see and interact with their creative practice. Immersed in a new environment, the residencies will celebrate the culture and creativity of Calderdale by allowing each artist to explore new ideas while engaging with the local community. People will have the chance to work with the artist in a series of fully accessible workshops and engagement activities, providing space for the exchange of ideas between artists and their communities.
You can learn more about each of the residencies and the application process by clicking on the venues below.
Green and blue residency
The Green and Blue Spaces residency programme presents a unique opportunity for an artist to immerse themselves in a unique environment, develop a new body of work in response to the research topic and engage a diverse and vibrant community with their practice.
