As the season changes, so are we…

Hello and welcome. It’s great to see you here.

If you’ve been here before you might have noticed that things have started to look a little different.

Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out some changes to the way we look and the way we operate. Don’t worry though, underneath we’ll still be the same organisation working to bring art and all its magic to as many people as possible. We’ll just have slightly different packaging that better represents who we are and what we do. Here’s a little taster of what you can expect:

A new name

One thing that sits at the heart of our organisation is the belief that art should be available to all, regardless of age, ability, background or circumstance. To better communicate this, we’re changing our name to Everybody Arts

A new look and feel

Perhaps the most visible change will be our new brand. As a visual arts organisation, we’re particularly excited about this one. Our new logo is colourful, handcrafted and a little bit messy – just like us! It’s also been created by a very special person that we’ll talk about more in the weeks to come. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Becoming a charity

We are currently in the process of applying to change our organisation from a community interest company (CIC) to a charity. This will open up new opportunities that will help us to provide even more support to our existing community, while bringing the benefit of art to even more people.

In anticipation of our charity status, we’ve recruited a fantastic Board of Trustees who we can’t wait for you to meet. They love Everybody Arts just as much as we do and will play a key role in our future.

A new booking system

We’re introducing a new piece of software to improve the experience of people booking onto our courses, workshops or to use our facilities. We hope providing a streamlined booking process will help even more people access support from us.

Timescales

We’ll be making changes gradually. You’ll start to see our new logo make an appearance over the next month or two, but it might take us a little while to make other changes.

On the paperwork side, we’ve already started switching things over. Our name has officially changed to Everybody Arts CIC at Companies House so you might notice it on any legal documentation such as our bank account details and Terms and Conditions. We’ll also be updating our website address and email addresses. info@everybodyarts.org.uk and www.everybodyarts.org.uk will start to appear in places.

Come party plan with us

We can’t wait to celebrate our change to Everybody Arts with the wider world when the time is right. It’s so important to us that our community are with us on this journey, so we’d like to invite you to help us plan a public celebration event. We have lots of ideas, but we’d really love to hear yours!

Join us on Wednesday 29th November from 3-5pm.

Our planning event will be an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the changes we are making and how they’ll benefit our wonderful community

  • Meet some of our Trustees and hear their vision for Everybody Arts

  • Have a ‘sneak peek’ at some of our lovely new visuals

  • Help plan our public celebration event

We really hope you can make it.

Everyone is welcome to this free and informal event, but please let us know your coming via the form below.
