Launch event: DIY Utopia's Community Summit

Join us 2-4pm on Friday 9th September for DIY Utopia's Community Summit.

Over the summer people living in Calderdale have come together to imagine a utopian Calderdale and then created a DIY action plan of how to get there.

It's been a wonderful journey facilitated by local artist Michael Powell and if you could make it, we would love to see you there.

As well as seeing and hearing ideas for a better Calderdale generated during the sessions you will have the opportunity to take part in creative actives and discussion with refreshments provided.

We'd love as many people as possible to come along so bring along anyone you know who might be curious to see and hear some new ideas.

About the project

Working with local artist Michael Powell, DIY Utopia has created visions of a utopia in Calderdale. Through a series of creative sessions, a group of people living in Calderdale have explored the challenges we face as a community and our visions for a better world. Together they have co-created a DIY action plan for Calderdale.
