Drawing for Wellbeing programme for public sector workers

Calderdale Cares 4 Us is a new project, hosted by Healthy Minds, to provide public and voluntary sector workers with free mental health and wellbeing provision.

As part of this project, we’re hosting ‘Drawing for Wellbeing’, a 5-week programme of creative blended learning activities that are designed to help public sector workers reduce the impact of stress, take a break and wind down during and after the workday.

 The programme includes:

  • A materials pack with a sketchbook and pencil case of drawing materials

  • Weekly video tutorials on a dedicated project webpage

  • Opportunity to attend live Friday Zoom sessions with one of our artist educators

  • Opportunity to attend an on-site peer support session at Artworks on 21st or 28th August, 10-11.30am

Registration for the Drawing for Wellbeing programme is through the Calderdale Cares 4 Us webpage. The programme starts on 26 July, but late sign-ups are welcomed due to the flexible nature of the project.

There are also a number of free places available on our on-site ‘Practice and Process’ workshops during the Summer. These can be booked on our website by choosing the workshop you wish to attend and selecting the ‘public sector worker’ place.
