Volunteer Spotlight: Helen Jones

Meet Helen Jones: one of the artists featured in our current exhibition, Nature's Endurance. Helen is also one of our amazing volunteers who has been helping to invigilate the gallery so that we can keep the space open for more people to enjoy - thank you Helen! 👏

This painting is called 'Rushing' and explores the sea is a comfort and a threat, calming and beautiful, fearsome and awful, but continuing however we respond. Mesmeric or violent, the movement of the waves is captivating and demands that we try to translate it into paint.
