Sally timmons

Sally has enjoyed many years working with various community-led initiatives and youth groups (devising and facilitating practical visual art, crafts and photography workshops with young people and adults of all abilities). 

As an individual, she has exhibited in and curated numerous artistic events and exhibitions in Ireland and internationally. She has published a number of catalogues and essays. 

She founded Commonplace Artists’ Studios (a multiple-use artists space in Dublin City Centre) from 2006 -  2016. Alongside managing and maintaining Commonplace studios, she conceived, devised and facilitated regular creative workshops that met every two weeks). 

She has the experience, critical knowledge, energy, enthusiasm (along with a positive outlook) to work across various learning Programmes. She is happy to devise group activities that aim towards individual or collaborative outcomes for young people and adults/educators. She has experience conceiving activities that can accommodate participants of varying abilities and needs (both physical and neurodiverse) and most importantly, varied interests and objectives.
