Artworks for Home Education course this summer

We’re introducing a brand-new Home Ed Ceramics course specifically aimed at home educated children aged 8 and above. Artworks ceramics tutor, Matt Cameron will take children and young people on a journey from clay to kiln - with a focus on hand building techniques used by artists to make both sculptural and functional ceramics.

As a Home Educating parent and a professional potter, Matt is well placed to guide participants in exploring the key techniques and materials, as well as the science and history, behind the pot making process.

The two hour sessions will run from Thursday the 23rd of June for 5 weeks, until the 21st of July, at 1-3pm. All materials and kiln time are included in the price.
