Creative Activities for Children this Spring

Creative Healthy Holidays is back!

Monday 11th-Thursday 14th April

We’re delighted to once again be running our Creative Healthy Holidays sessions. Each day children aged 5-12 will take part in a different fun and inspirational creative activity.

Places are free for children on Benefits Related Free School Meals, and we also have some discretionary funds available to support other families in joining the scheme. Full price places are £30 a session.

Here’s a quick look at what we’ll be doing:

Monday 11th April: Sculpting Clay

Tutor: Kate Walton

Tuesday 12th April: Drawing in Reverse

Tutor: Helen Jones

Wednesday 13th April: Doodle Town

Tutor: Zeke Clough

Thursday 14th April: Concertina Stories

Tutor: Kate Walton

NEW We will be hosting a celebration meal at 4pm on Thursday 14th April for families to join their young people and celebrate their amazing work! Find out more when you book your place.

These sessions are part of Calderdale’s Healthy Holidays scheme. This project has been made possible thanks to funding gratefully received from the Community Foundation for Calderdale, who help local people to do extraordinary things.

They fund and support a vast range of activities that help young people, older people and disabled people, as well as homelessness, sports, environmental, education, and mental health projects, plus everything in between.

The Community Foundation for Calderdale works with local communities to inspire and encourage projects that they want to see, to make their neighbourhoods happier, healthier and safer places to be.
