What a week! We've had so much fun running the last Creative Healthy Holidays sessions of the year, and from the look of these photos and the laughter filling our building the children who came did too.

We started the week on Monday with mixing up our own salt dough to make some decorations and sculptures to paint and take home.

On Tuesday we used recycled materials to make a range of crafts and fun games.

Wednesday brought the creation of our own colourful snow wall with exploring how to make imaginative snowflake mandalas.

We ended the week on Thursday with the creation of festive nature decorations, using a range of fruit, spices and naturally dyed ribbons to make our own creations.

Massive thanks to Pennine Cropshare for putting together some fab veg bags for families to take home, Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and Calderdale Cares for supplying NHS Winter Care packages for families, as well as Surplus To Purpose for donating a range of healthy food and booklets.

This programme wouldn't be possible without funding gratefully received for the Healthy Holidays Calderdale programme from Calderdale Council, Community Foundation for Calderdale and Department for Education.
