We've got an exciting weekend coming up at Artworks!
Join us this Friday and Saturday (3 and 4 December) for festive workshops, a special film screening and a last chance to see the fantastic 'Our Greenham' exhibition.
3 December, 10am – 12.30pm
This workshop will give you the opportunity to print your own Christmas cards, tags and wrapping paper for a DIY Christmas using materials that you may already have at home.
Leather Craft – Candle Holders
4 December, 10am – 12.30pm
Create two beautiful natural leather and reclaimed wood candle holders, decorate with your own unique designs and finish with precious metal leaf. Perfect for your Christmas table or as a special present.
4 December, 3.30pm
This is a unique chance to watch a special film ‘Carry Greenham Home’ which documents the everyday lives of the women at Greenham Common Peace Camp. It also provides a last opportunity to see the ‘Our Greenham’ exhibition which gathers an exceptional selection of memorabilia and photographs from the people of the Calder Valley, as well as objects from The Peace Museum’s collection. The screening is free and refreshments are provided.
