Lucy Marriott

Lucy Marriott is a socially engaged artist, working, living and breathing in Sheffield.

Her photography explores a more eco-concious approach to image making, considering how process informs practice, with a link in the material nature of the work and the message it presents.

Lucy’s work uses photography as a way to connect to and collaborate with both human and non-human, using processes such as anthotypes, cyanotypes and film developed with alternative developers such as cafenol-c.

She is one of the founders of Social Pickle, a fermentation and preservation group, using surplus, foraged and local donated food to explore preservation techniques, bringing people together to learn and celebrate food cultures.
