About the Everybody Gallery
The Everybody Gallery showcases the work of a diverse range of artists. We're at the start of our mission to develop an inspiring and enjoyable programme of exhibitions that are representative of and engage the varied communities we work with.
We believe that art is for everyone, and should be accessible to all through an open programme of varied and high quality exhibitions and events.
Housed in a former grade II listed textile mill, The Everybody Gallery is part of Everybody Arts: a charity with thriving arts learning and engagement programmes.
The Everybody Gallery takes up the first floor of Everybody Arts’ grade II listed former textile mill on the outskirts of Halifax. An accessible space spanning across 326 square metres with kitchen and audio visual facilities, our gallery provides ample space to deliver ambitious and engaging exhibitions and events as well as a range of functions, events, talks or workshops.

OUR Selection Criteria
The Everybody Gallery at Everybody Arts aims to showcase the work of a diverse range of artists. We aim to host an ambitious, inspiring and enjoyable programme of visual arts exhibitions that are representative of and engage the varied communities we work with, through an open programme of high quality exhibitions and events.
We have criteria for artists applying to exhibit, in the gallery, for our main exhibitions.
These are:
Artists for presentation will have an arts qualification to BA minimum and/or 3 years experience working as a professional artist.
Artists or performers are selected because of how they/their work will serve our communities and enrich our programmes.
Artists will present engaging and educational visual arts demonstrating practical skills and critical thinking.
Decisions on which artists may exhibit at the gallery are made by our managing directors and approved by the Board of Directors, in line with our purposes.
The gallery also sometimes hosts specific exhibitions to highlight the work of community groups to support our educational activities and community participation in the arts. In these instances, for community showcases, the criteria will be as follows:
Artists or performers are selected because of how they/their work will serve our communities and enrich our programmes.
Artists will present engaging and educational visual arts demonstrating practical skills and critical thinking.
